The flying season is finally here, and Southern3D is starting 2026 at one of the Southeast’s most anticipated early-season events — Extreme Flight’s Wings Over America, April 9–12 at Hodges Field in Andersonville, Georgia.
Wings Over America has become a traditional season opener for many pilots. It’s where winter projects make their first appearance, new setups get tested, and the skies fill with some of the best 3D aircraft in the hobby. From small electrics to giant-scale gas planes, the flightline always delivers nonstop action and a chance to reconnect with the community after the off-season.
Southern3D will be on site capturing photos, pilot stories, and the aircraft that define the start of the year. If you’re attending, come find us and show off what you brought to fly.
