Joe Nall 2025 once again solidified itself as the premier event in extreme 3D RC flight, drawing thousands of enthusiasts to Triple Tree Aerodrome in Woodruff, South Carolina. From May 10th to 17th, pilots showcased their incredible aerobatic skills, pushing the limits of both their aircraft and personal talents.
The event kicked off with a few days of challenging weather, as persistent rain kept many aircraft grounded initially. However, as soon as the rain subsided, the skies quickly filled with eager pilots making the most of the clear conditions.
One of the highlights this year was the spectacular performance by top pilots Jase Dussia and Santiago Perez. Jase stunned spectators with flawless rolling circles and gravity-defying hovers mere inches above the runway, while Santiago brought high-energy maneuvers including breathtaking knife-edge spins and heart-stopping blenders.
Among the emerging talents was Ashleigh Heath, one of the few female pilots excelling at the event, impressively maneuvering her 120″ wingspan aircraft through precise, aggressive routines that won over crowds and earned her a standing ovation during the freestyle competition.
Event-goers also enjoyed workshops and demonstrations, providing insights into advanced aircraft setups, engine tuning, and cutting-edge radio technology. Vendors offered the latest innovations in RC gear, and community-building was vibrant, with evening bonfires and social gatherings strengthening the bonds among attendees.
Joe Nall 2025 proved yet again why it remains the pinnacle event for extreme 3D RC flying, promising even more exciting prospects for future editions.
